Tähtvere 51, Tartu

Päikesekella tükk, mis leiti Tartus Tähtvere tn 51 hoone vundamendist (rajatud 19. sajandi lõpus). Kell pärineb 18. või isegi 17. sajandist. Kella teeb huvitavaks selle tagakülg, millel vastupidiselt kella esiküljele on eenduvad tunnijooned. Võib-olla kasutas meister tunnijoonte kopeerimiseks šabloonilt või teiselt kellalt mingit poolvedelat segu, hiljem raius kivide kokkusurumisel tekkinud kujutise järgi jooned ja numbrid sisse. Piece of sundial found from a foundation of the building at Tähtvere St. 51, Tartu (built in the end of the 19th century). The dial can be made in 18th or even in 17th century. The backside of the dial has traces of hour lines from other dial or some kind of stencil, which the sundial maker used for coping the hour lines. If someone knows more about possible techniques, please explain closer in a comment!
